Scientology Envelope Hoax

by Rachael Grant

The Church of Scientology has been hit by yet another hoax. The FBI said that on Thursday, the 19 Los Angeles based church addresses were hit by a delivery of envelopes containing a mysterious white powder. This quickly resulted in Glendale police closing a street for over two hours, and Tustin authorities evacuating over 60 people from surrounding buildings as a hazardous materials team was called to the scene.

Initial tests have indicated that the powder isn’t harmful, although more tests are being conducted.

So far, the Church has not commented.
