Rock star Pete Doherty is reported to have turned to Islam to help him through his time in prison.
The Babyshambles lead singer was jailed in Wormwood Scrubs for 14 weeks after he violated his probation by taking drugs.
He was recently separated from other prisoners and placed in an isolated cell after his life was threatened.
The Sun has reported that once Doherty was placed in isolation, he requested a Qur’an, and according to a friend, he has been reading it daily.
His friend added that Islam’s holy book is helping the singer to focus his mind and stay calm.
