Cannibal Mother Admits Crimes in Court

by Rachael Grant

In a court in the Czech Republic, a 31 year old woman admitted that she tortured her two sons, kept them in a cage, and allowed relatives to feed on their raw flesh.

Klara Mauerova, who is a member of the Grail Movement club, also allowed family members to sexually assault the boys, and forced the children to cut themselves while they stood in their own urine.

The boys were also whipped, and relatives tried to drown them.

A monitor Kalra had installed to watch the misery of her sons from the comfort of her kitchen led to the discovery of the boys when a neighbour who bought his own TV monitor to watch his baby picked up images of Ondrej Maureova beaten and kept nude in chains.

When Ondrej, 10, and his younger brother Jakub were removed into custody, police also took what appeared to be a teenage girl, who was later revealed to be another of the boys’ torturers – a woman who Mauerova claimed brainwashed her into allowing the abuse of her children.

Barbora Skrlova then fled to Norway, but was caught and taken back to the Czech Republic later on.

The trial continues, as it is revealed text messages were the primary form of communication, sent from a man known as the ‘doctor’, the leader of the Grail Movement club.
