Forum upgrade - July 2025

I've just upgraded the forum software to the latest version. It was a large upgrade, so there's the potential that it may have resulted in some things being broken somewhere. Therefore if you find any issues, please do report them here.

Also, hopefully that might address some login problems I know one or two users may have been experiencing, so hopefully this will help with that as well.

how ever, the cookie issue remains (requiring delte all cookies to be able to login), and it looks like even more hard to do anything, as loading the page is nearly impossible (at least if connection isn't the best) guessing because heavy loads of java.

Just to feed forward, no demads.

I haven't been able to visit this forum in a long time when logged in.

If I am not logged in, the website is fast as any. As soon as I log in, it takes a few minutes just to load a single page if I am lucky.

Usually, I get some sort of 'time out' error. No matter what browser I use, it's the same issue every time.

The new featured content column...my anticipation raised, I clicked, and then it was like a parkor kid making a leap and missing but making the beginning of the ambulance ride blooper clips.

A tad exaggerated but fun to think about.

So when I saw it blank and the grey cloud of doom subsided I wondered what did I expect? I hadn't thought about it yet, I just clicked like a good scrolling lemming...

So I pondered what would I like to see?

Well it can't be current discussions that is already there. So blasts from the past?
