    Evolution is Unscientific

I still think epi-genetics plays a role. As environmental challenges impact a population, the population has to adjust. I may be FOS, but I see epi-genetics as playing a role in the process.

Maccabee massacre and the crucifixion/resurrection of Jesus

Paul and Constantine were two instrumental people in Christianity, but it takes a village to raise a revolution. Nevertheless, the Maccabees were about 150 years before Jesus was born, so invoking Constantine, or Paul for that matter, on an issue impacting Judaism is a bit off track.

There is no proof of God ...

I've said the same in different words several times already. Energy permeates matter. If energy can be physical, it implies energy beings exist. Energy requires two poles, and the "tension" between the two poles allows for visible matter to exist. Visible matter, if the ratio provided is...

There is no proof of God ...

Interesting graphic. If existence is illusion; there is no reality, there is no truth, you and I do not exist. Perception is illusion, that I would agree with, as each perception is subjective. But reality simply exists, which renders "existence as illusion" fallacious. Reality isn't real...

    Evolution is Unscientific

The end result of that reasoning is WWII and the holocaust. Evolution by natural selection is a philosophy of science, a dogma of science, a meme, hardly "fact." I would think I demonstrated a good bit of that back at post 838, specifically regarding the evolution of humans. The travesty is...

There is no proof of God ...

Not "a" God, it is G!d.

There is no proof of God ...

There is no proof and no evidence of that, therefore this must be taken on faith.

Why I take the Bible literally

For what purpose? There may be dozens of ways to interpret, but only one is correct. The writer had one interpretation specifically in mind when he wrote it. That requires context, not flitting off in any possible direction as the Gnostics did. And you still avoid my question. Which makes...

Always a wise thing to do before communicating on a given subject.

Maccabee massacre and the crucifixion/resurrection of Jesus

I don't know Bowker and I don't know his book, but if this is what he is teaching I would be inclined to dismiss it as intellectually dishonest. Based on what? Conjecture? While it is true Judaism has a different view of Heaven / Afterlife than Christianity, it is no less philosophically deep...

Why I take the Bible literally

Romans 2:14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, -KJV For if the Gentiles who have not The Written Law would perform those things of The Written Law by their nature, while they have not The...

Why I take the Bible literally

As long as one understands the Messengers / Messiahs are not going to hand carry any of us back to G!d. We have to find our way ourselves, they are there to point the direction.

Why I take the Bible literally

I don't have a dog in this hunt, but this is a false dichotomy People were on the Earth prior to the flood Again, no dog in this hunt, but the arguments are getting specious. I see you prefer not to answer what you do with what you believe. Show your faith without your works, I will show my...

Maccabee massacre and the crucifixion/resurrection of Jesus

I'm not in a position to speak authoritatively. However, I am fairly certain the Hebrew Bible, or at least the books that compose it, were already established and set by the time of the Maccabees. The Septuagint Greek language Hebrew Bible was already available by this time. After the Ten...
