I would say not .. yet, they were inspired to write it, and had sound religious knowledge.
There have been many inspired people, who were chosen by G-d i.e. prophets and saints
Mmm .. some Muslims can be rather sectarian, dismissing others as "disbelievers" .. as do many
Christians.
However, I would say the main thing that takes a person 'out of Islam', would be denouncing
the 5 pillars.
i.e. 1. kalima (there is only One God, and Muhammad is His prophet)
2. ritual...
I'm sorry that you have had a bad experience..
You might find Christians in cities that you can identify with?
Sometimes, people in rural areas can be a bit sectarian .. tribal, you know. ;)
Heresy is all relative..

The devil seeks to divide .. divide & rule .. the oldest trick in the book.
Faith is between G-d and oneself. He has given us intelligence for a reason.
Birds of a feather flock together.
There's plenty to choose from. :D...
Mmm .. so due to this, satan blames mankind for his fall from grace .. and has vowed to

The Amish have roots in Europe, and migrated to US to...
One of my sons-in-law was raised as a Sikh. He became a Muslim in his late teens, and his

He found a flat in Birmigham UK, and it took a few years for family to settle down.
Now, he gets on fine with his dad, and all is well.
The problem I have with that, is that it did not exist before Orthodox Christianity.
The oneness of God is the first commandment .. faith all rests on that foundation.
..as you would also agree.
..so if the trinity was so important for faith, then why were the Jews not made aware of it? :)
I doubt it .. they might be able to draw an illustration in some fashion..
..but even I can't understand it, and I don't think I'm a caveman. ;)
The above would mean that body = soul = spirit .. errrr, no.
