Is the Bible a supernatural book?

Or none at all. ;) The amount of gods Hindus worship has little to nothing to do with how the Vedas flow. There are roughly 30 Vedic gods, and they all serve different purposes. They interact with one another in the Vedas rather than this Hindu author recognizing this god and that Hindu...

Vegetarian or Vegan? Religious or health reason?

This is one of the main principles in Jainism, but it’s common in Hinduism as well. I identify as the latter.

Vegetarian or Vegan? Religious or health reason?

I've been lacto-ovo vegetarian collectively for about 10 or so years now, but only eat eggs (or more accurately, food containing egg) sporadically. I decided quite some time ago that if I'm unwilling to take the life of an animal, I have no business eating store-bought meat. To me, it felt...

    Your belief

I was raised Catholic, and while I was indoctrinated, I was able to, at a young age, know that this was not my path, as there were to many teachings that conflicted with my worldview. Yet here you are, on a religious forum, putting everyone in your way. ;)

    Your belief

I don't think there is any one answer for "people." I've been interacting with religious people for many years, both online and IRL, and its a mix ranging from indoctrination to careful research, study, reasoning, and contemplation. The answer depends entirely on one's individual nature.

    Two word religious descriptions.

Hinduism: Sanatana Dharma Sanatana means eternal. Unfortunately, there is no single word translation for dharma into English. It is the sum of cosmic order/duties/law/conduct.

    Death is an illusion

Thanks for posting this, @wil. In my understanding, he's not far off. My mind and body will expire, but I, in my true nature, am immortal. My friend, @Aupmanyav, will likely agree with this, albeit not for the same reasons. He's not a proponent of "pure consciousness." I, however, have...
