The end of the Fast is approaching.. and will coincide with the beginning of Naw-Ruz..the vernal equinox.
It marks the beginning of the Baha'i Calendar and the year 167 of the Baha'i Era which counts from around 1844 CE or 1260 AH.
Naw-Ruz is usually celebrated by community dinners and prayers..sometimes picnics. Naw-Ruz is also observed by Muslims in Iran and Afganistan and of course by Zoroastrians..
Naw-Ruz is the ancient Persian New Year.
