Gatekeeper
Shades of Reason
My belief is that there are rules and regulations set in place that pretty much govern everything in existence. I think life is a bit mechanical, actually. For instance: As individuals, our brain is the control center that keeps our organs and such in sync with one another, even if we are unaware of the processes taking place.
If existence is God and God is conscious, then existence (God) must be looking inward as existence would have nothing to look to outside of itself. All the focus must be placed on what's going on within the body of existence. This isn't to suggest that every tiny detail is known (Such as our future actions) but the overall inner workings are certainly governed and managed if only by what we deem to be natural forces existing as a part of the whole.
Much like our cells and how they work .... The inner workings of existence is similar to how our cells operate. Each cell has a duty to perform. Some cells never stray from their intended purpose, but then others do (Such as a hostile cancer cell). The cancerous cell then creates disharmony within our bodies, and we become ill.
Lets say that our cells represent mankind. The infected areas represent places in our body that are out of sync with the rest because of the hostile cancer cells (The earth being the infected area).
We are responsible for much of the chaos and disharmony on earth, and it is because of this that the earth and the earths occupants suffer. Much of humanity has strayed from our intended purpose and have become like the hostile cancer cell, which is why the world is in the shape it is in.
The reason I'm using this analogy is because if we do not learn to live in harmony with existence, the earth, and all the earths hosts, we will destroy ourselves as well as the world we live in. The rules and regulations that govern our realities are forever set in place and unless we learn what they are, then learn how to live in in harmony with them, we will be destroyed because of our unwillingness to submit ourselves to the governing forces in life.
Is God involved in our lives, then? Absolutely! We have all we need to live and to live abundantly, but it is up to us to grab hold of these things, and live in a manner beneficial to all living creatures. It is up to us to utilize all we know about reality and the world, and come to desire what is wise for us collectively.
Surely God would have wiped us out ages ago if he were vengeful, but he hasn't. We will do it to ourselves or we will rise above and one day live in harmony with God or rather existence itself.
Jesus just so happened to show us the way .... Love God (Existence) and love our fellow man. Gods role is to be as He is, our role is to submit to the governing aspects of His being.
