I must say, this is a very interesting web site and am looking forward to learning more of the various beliefs of the world through discussion.

I myself was raised as a Pretestant Christian, and currently am a United Methodist, though I wouldn't say I'm a very good Christian since my personal beliefs fall more in line with Paganism. I've spent quite some time now studying both Greek and Celtic mythologies, as well as history of those two cultures, though I'm planning on goinging into research on both the Germanic and Slavic cultures in the near future (though getting material on early Slavic civilization is proving difficult).

Anyway, just thought I should quickly introduce myself, greetings and salutations to all.

Welcome aboard! I've just recently started getting into Celtic mythology and history. Good stuff. I'd also recommend Persian history. A lot of people just assume Persia was born under Arab influence. Not so.
