Hello, everyone, my name is Carl and I am new around here. I am just an average guy, an avid reader, nature love, animal lover and religion enthusiast. I've always found religions to be so very fascinating and I love to learn about them as much as possible. I also love to cook, and garden, and I'm happily partnered to the most wonderful man I've ever met.

Religiously I am not exactly sure what to call myself, other than perhaps an Unitarian Universalist, but I do find quite a few things that resonate with me in Wicca, most especially the eight word version of the Rede, "An harm ye none, do what ye will." I try to live my life by that principle and I feel that most of the time I succeed. With that said I also find great value in science, most especially biology and evolution, as well as physics. I sometimes struggle to reconcile myself with the more mystical aspects of religion but I guess we all have our struggles when it comes to faith. We simply must work through them as best we can.

Well, I can't really think of anything else to add to this, so if you want to get to know me, please feel free to strike up a conversation! Blessed be!

Welcome GLG!
This place is in one of it's hibernating seasons and isn't very active. Feel free to start new threads or dig up old ones. You might get a lot of responses when some of the people return, or new ones arrive.

I hope you'll settle in and keep us company for a while.

Hello there Goth and welcome. With such well rounded interests, I'm sure you'll find something here to strike your fancy.

Jump on in. The water's fine! :)

Greetings and Saturations! (The latter for your garden!). Fascination with physics, particularly cosmology, check. Bookoholic, check. Nature lover, check. Animal lover, check. Wiccan and Pagan interests, check. Cook, umm, busted. Can't boil water.

I am far from average, or at least I might mention that if I weren't so humble. Just updated my intro, which methinks you might find of some interest. Would enjoy hearing your thoughts on it!
