Use brain / mind (heart) to understand Al Quran..

(AL ARAAF 179)
And we have certainly created for hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts (mind) with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock, rather they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless..

Use brain to understand AL Quran so it will guide your brain /mind to judge between right and wrong (criterion)

(AL BAQARA 185)
The month of Ramadhan in which was revealed the AL Quran. a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion...

God wrath for those who do not use their brain /mind..

(YUNUS 100)
And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of ALLAH, and he will place defilement upon those who will not use reason (mind)

All well and good. The sticky in the wicket is how different individuals define reason. Hardly limited to Islam; an issue with all religions.
today religions was made by individuals with different reasoning.

bcoz of neglecting good books as a guidance theydeviated from the true path.

I'm not sure it is neglecting good books. Rather it is the interpretation of those books that is the problem. Some interpret them towards what you and I might consider the true path. Others interpret them very differently indeed from the way we do. Now you can say they are wrong and their interpretation is not the true path. But you won't convince them of that. They believe they are the ones following the true path!

follow the books and the way of the prophets (sunnah)

(Ibrahim 1)
A. L. R. A Book which We have revealed unto thee, in order that THOU mightest LEAD MANKIND OUT OF DEPTH of DARKNESS into LIGHT - by the leave of their Lord - to the Way of (Him) the Exalted in power, worthy of all praise!-

from the darkness into light -
the process we called Isra @ Hijra

In Hinduism. introspection comes first and foremost, as we believe following our conscience is an ability everyone has, and it wouldn't vary a lot from person to person. This gets tuned up by daily introspective periods called meditation, attending home ceremony, or going to temple. The goal (and natural outcome if done right) is all of that is to get rid of selfishness, turn vanity into humility, and all that. Only when we are confused about a decision would we turn to a teacher/friend, or to scripture. So it's not about interpreting scripture so much, but more about finding the inherent dharma and goodness. So yes we use the brain, but not so much the intellectual component of it, but more the intuitive/conscience component.
