I've changed a few superficial elements of the site - for a start, I've removed the National Geographic affiliate scheme - after nearly 3 months and nearly 394,000 impressions, it provided a single sale, earning CR £2.01. Which is pants.

If someone is really going to click an ad out of the site, better it's done through the AdSense links - again, the pay is a bit pants, but it does pay for the hosting costs. As we're now getting over 2,000 unique visitors a day to the site (and the figure rises continually) then that is a definite concern.

Also, there are a few small text ads at the foot of the site - there is no payment received for these - instead, it's simply a case of a larger scale "web ring" or "link exchange" - where a large number of sites simply get their link to help promote one another's interests.

Oh - I've also updated the navigation links on the main site, so that at the bottom of each is a direct link to the latest forum posts for that section. For example, check out the Christianity section:
http://www.comparative-religion.com/christianity/

Also noticed there are a few pages that seriously need updating - Judaism and Mesoamerica for starters.

And - although I may not have been posting much recently, I still do read every single post. I've just been a little busy to really get involved in any particular discussions.

Anyway, all that was just for your information. :)
