I just started learning a bit about Taoism, and I'm really interested in hearing opinions on these questions from people who've been on this path for a while.

How do you balance doing and non-doing (wu wei) in your daily life?
In what ways has Taoism influenced your personal choices, mindset, or relationships?

Also, for those who converted or adopted Taoism later in life, what drew you to it the most?

I'm new to this site and I would really appreciate any insights you’re willing to share.

I don't know if there are active practicing Taoists regularly on the site at this time.

Agree, @seongmin where are ya located? Asia has the most Taoists, here in america i see it as more of a philosophy, a way of self improvement more than religion. Most I have met don't worship the ancestors or ancient gods.

Of course that is my version of following the words of Jesus or any other religion...I am always seeking the Dao or the way of life which makes wading thru life easier. I am big on a tradition which improves relationships, community, not a tradition which worships a person or creator or any being.

Back when I was an insensitive jerk (some would contend I still am) I used to tell the JWs or Baptists or Mormons that came to my door that I worshipped doorknobs... that I rubbed them and turned them like a darma wheel or prayer beads...that they opened doors for me and kept unwanted demons out.

But back to your journey, experience, study....care to share? What have you learned and how do you feel your practice has improved you?
