Flip through them. Dark or light. They are all there for us to experience.

No?

What are you saying? That there is another force of creation in reality, other than God?

Or that God is inherently flawed?

Is the devil just an aspect of God's fundamental core?

I agree.

Yeah, I would say that. I'm a polytheist.
Or that God is inherently flawed?
The idea of "flawed" seems like a human given/determined term.

Considering that, I'd say deities can certainly have flaws.

I don't think much about devils.

Darkness is not the opposite of light, but the absence of light. Total darkness, at the bottom of a mineshaft is ultimate, but there can never be a totality of light -- a candle, a sun, ten million suns.

It is the mixing of the perfect, eternal and unchanging 'uncreated world' of spirit with the active, ever changing 'created world' of nature, that is our reality, imo

Or that God is inherently flawed?
What do you mean by this word "God"?

Is the devil just an aspect of God's fundamental core?
The two primal and perfect yin/yang opposites, male and female, the creative and receptive, do not correspond with any concept of good and evil.

IMO

In fact “light” as we commonly understand is the limited spectrum of electromagnetic radiation available to us as visible light. But light includes the whole electromagnetic spectrum, from x-rays and gamma rays, through ultra violet and visible light, to infra red and long wavelength radio waves – perhaps infinite at both ends of the spectrum.

So there’s not really any place in the universe that is not penetrated by some form of wavelength of light. There’s no darkness in the universe, really?

I offer thoughts from the Baha'i Wrirings on this topic.

I see we have been created on the edge of darkness and at the beginning of light, the light is our potential, the divinity within.

As such we have to reach for the light and overcome the darkness. Yes it's all there to experience.

I see darkness only as the lack of light, it has no existence of its own. It enables choice.

I love this quote from Baha'u'llah talking about the "Realm of Knowledge"

".....He in this realm is content with the divine decree, and seeth war as peace, and in death findeth the meaning of everlasting life. With both inward and outward eyes he witnesseth the mysteries of resurrection in the realms of creation and in the souls of men, and with a spiritual heart apprehendeth the wisdom of God in His endless manifestations. In the sea he findeth a drop, in a drop he beholdeth the secrets of the sea.

Split the atom’s heart, and lo!
Within it thou wilt find a sun. (Hátif-i-Iṣfahání (d.1783))

Gazing with the eye of absolute insight, the wayfarer in this valley seeth in God’s creation neither contradiction nor incongruity, and at every moment exclaimeth, “No defect canst thou see in the creation of the God of mercy. Repeat the gaze: Seest thou a single flaw?” (Qur’án 67:3). He beholdeth justice in injustice, and in justice, grace. In ignorance he findeth many a knowledge hidden, and in knowledge a myriad wisdoms manifest. He breaketh the cage of the body and the hold of the passions, and communeth with the denizens of the immortal realm. He scaleth the ladders of inner truth and hasteneth to the heaven of inner meanings. He rideth in the ark of “We will surely show them Our signs in the world and within themselves”, and saileth upon the sea of “until it become plain to them that it is the truth”.30 And if he meeteth with injustice he shall have patience, and if he cometh upon wrath he shall manifest love...."

The devil is not using the potential in us. The devil is in that detail!

Isaiah 45:7"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things"
