Hello Friends,
Mani had many followers in South India. He was worshiped as a god in South India.
Known as Subra (light)-Mani he is depicted as one flying on a peacock. He was believed to possess the power to transform himself and fly as a peacock.
Mani taught his religion at Tamil Sangam meetings. It is said that one of Mani's disciples tried to fly like a peacock. He was shot by an arrow and he died at Mylapore.
