That may be true also. The only place in scripture that even mentions the Anti-Christ is I John 4:3:

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

Here it is apparently speaking of a "spirit of antichrist", not a particular man, but speaking in general terms an essence of a negative attitude about God or Christ that will permeate society, and in fact in John's time was already present.

Let's see... In my bible it say 1st John 4:3 But every inspired expression that does not confess jesus, does not originate with god. Furthermore, this is the antichrist's [inspired expression] which YOU have heard was coming and now it is already in the world...

Inspired expression, hmmm I also find "It is already in the world" interesting.. What you make of that final part? Also again the key point in the bible in revelation... the 666 thing it says that is man's number not just A man... so it has to be all us?

Indeed I can take you seriously.... The kid looks like he has a switch blade behind his back and is up on Ice...... And those two beadly little black orbs he calls eyes.... They'll swallow your soul.

lol...Be careful not to look directly into them. Do they not look like the kid in "The Grunge"?

But I think it goes in line with what Jesus said in Matthew 12:30:

"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."

And he said a similiar thing concerning someone who the disciples saw was not of their group, yet doing things in Jesus' name in Mark 9:38-42.

"And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
For he that is not against us is on our part.
For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea."

I tend to look at the term antichrist, not to mean so much as against the man, that is Jesus Christ, but rather against that which He stood for and that which He taught.

Yup I'd go with that Dondi, as I placed in my edit on the previous post... it shows that the antichrist is many... and is here already... So I would then connect to that the number, 6. And it shows that man, in vast numbers makes the antichrist as he is imperfect and in more ways than one agaisn't god knowingly or unknowingly....

Well, if you look at the number 7, it is a recurring theme and seems to be a number of completion, the number of God: Seven days, seven spirits of God, seven candlesticks, seven churches, seven seals, and so on. So the number 6 is just short of that. An incompletion of what God intended for man. To proclaim yourself as number 6 is to proclaim that you do not wish to reach the number 7, hence it is counterproductive or counter to God.

Yup, man SHOULD be 7, like god is 7... But we kinda did a "my bad..." so we are one mark short of perfection.... so the 6 gets the emphasize placed on it 666... YOUR A FAILURE, YOUR A FAILURE, YOUR A FAILURE..... You know how you say the same thing more than once... to try and hit the point home and smack that nail BAM on the head...

I know this may sound unrelative, but has anyone seen the movie "23"? Almost anything adds up, subtracts to, divides to, or multiplies to the number 23.

In many ways, this is another 666 puzzle.

I thought it was pretty funny when 06-06-2006 came around and some thought the world was going to end. Last time I checked after that day the world was turning.

I wonder what will happen this year on 07-07-2007?
