Hi mikie8 - do you have an actual summary of the information presented in the pdf document?

Simply that it's a series of declassified documents, badly photocopied, and it's a little hard deciphering the meaning of it all - - - other than the USA did not like Cuba then.

A more overt reference to the meaning of the documents would be very welcome.

Thanks for that - I'm sure I saw a reference to "the Red Scare" in another link - just my ignorance of recent US history, methinks.

But that's pretty amazing stuff - I'm sure I've ehard of similar before, but to see it apparently documented is quite an eye opener. I'll get this all printed out when I get home - thanks for that.
