Not me dude, I will be happy being the doorman. Once I'm gone from earth, I am not coming back to it...

When it comes to christians ,they would have to be sticking to the teachings of Jesus and not be taking on manmade doctrines , because to do that would mean that they were not really christians at all . its not about memorizing bible verses its about putting the bible and what it REALLY teaches into practice . and the true christian congregation that is organized to do what Jesus said to do ,is organized indeed .
And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things." matthew 28 18;-20
yes the ones who are faithful to what jesus said, are very organized indeed.
and as Jesus said in matthew 24;14 the GOODNEWS will be preached in all the inhabited earth ,
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.matthew 24;14
so rather than spreading idiotic ideas such as the TRINITY ,HELLFIRE ,ECT ECT
THE REAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH IS SPREADING THE REAL MESSAGE AND IT IS VERRRRY GOOD
when it comes to real bible thoughts we dont need out own thoughts ,because the thoughts of God are better.

many people will be surprised indeed when they hear Jesus voice and then find themselves in a paradise earth even you LOL John 5;28-29
but i find that it is even better to put myself among the GREAT CROWD spoken of in REVELATION 7;9-10 and then that great crowd will have the chance to get through the GREAT TRIBULATION and then they will never have to die at all ,
but in the mean time some of that great crowd because of oldage now ,or because of sickness and accident , could be one of those that Jesus brings back to a paradise earth at a future time . so it will not be a surprise for those ones when they are brought back to life. because they know it will happen .
but many who think that they will be going to heaven ,will have to put themselves inline with Jesus on the earth , but they will hear Jesus voice .

Re: Body of God
mee, many people disagree with JW teachings and ideas just as you disagree with ideas such as the trinity.
Calling other people's ideas, especially ideas that are held in common by most Christians (such as the trinity), "idiotic" is inflammatory and just plain rude.
Let us be respectful and polite in how we speak to each other, as I'm sure we all can agree Christ would want us to behave.
Thanks,
Path

Agreed. Mee, you have no authority, nor inside information that allows you to slam others for their beliefs. And you are pushing the envelope of tolerance here at CR. Suggest you back off...

Re: Body of God
Mee was using my original post when he called the Trinity "idiotic" (I said the idea that to be a Christian you can't think for yourself is idiotic); he just went waaaaaaay overboard. The overwhelming majority of Christians believe in the Trinity. It was my understanding that this site was not about pushing your religion on others, but openly sharing ideas. Please keep it that way. I was (rightfully) very offended by your post, but I forgive you, and I appreciate the others who took a stand against the name calling. So far I've been impressed by my fellow bloggers.

Ummm, the "Chicken soup for the soul" series has helped a great deal of people find God, and is manmade doctrine...So, your statement that Christians reading manmade doctrine are not real Christians is to put it lightly, in error.

when you mentioned idiotic ideas and thoughts, it just made me think about the thoughts of man that have given birth to doctrines of men , and those thoughts have misled many over the centuries, and they have even mixed those thoughts and ideas up with true bible teaching, and it has made a very big confusion indeed .

Interesting. Some might say the same thing goes for the Watch Tower Tracts...however that would be for only the last century and a half...

Path[/quote Jesus did not hold back when it came to the traditions of man ,when he was speaking to those who claimed to represent God at that time , i think he spoke in very plain talk as to how he felt about wrong teaching not inline with Gods ways .
in out day it is not the ones who are misled by false teaching , it is the religious leaders who promote wrong teachings that are in trouble with God .
and it started many centuries ago , and people today are so misled by it they even think it is true .

As long as the teachings are inline with the bible then there is no problem , the problems start when the teachings are not inline with the bible .
and back in the 4th centuries many manmade ideas and traditions started to be put to the fore , but the apostasy started about 300 years after christs death.
and many have been led astray by manmade thoughts over the years , getting back to what the bible REALLY teaches is the way to go .

knowing the true God leads to everlasting life .JOHN 17;3 and it is the truth , the truth sets people free from manmade doctrines , and leads to EVERLASTING LIFE .and we know what REVELATION 18;4 says GET OUT OF HER . the thing to get out of ,is the symbolic woman in the book of revelation.
and she has an empire world wide, in fact she IS a worldwide empire of false religion.
and any religion with babyloniish teachings in it are false .
thats why God said in revelation 18;4 GET OUT OF HER.and he was talking to his people when he said that .
i am out of her .

Thank you!!! I find it interesting that Mee is even on this site, since he seems so convinced of his own inerrancy. While I claim to be Christian, I never once claimed that one particular church or branch of Christianity had it all right. Where is the humility that Jesus embodied? I know you think you are fighting some kind of holy war, Mee, but perhaps you've chosen the wrong place to do it. I trust God that He will reveal the Truth to each of us, if we are truly seeking Him. I do not, however, believe the way He does that is to use people such as yourself to knock on doors and mock others. While you may think you are doing God's work and suffering in the knowledge that you and your Society have it all figured out, you are really just alienating the rest of the world even further from your ideas.

and i should think not ,that is why he sent us out to to give GOODNEWS and to point to what the bible teaches inline with Jesus . its all about GOODNEWS
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. matthew 24;14
Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” matthew 28;19-20
and you will notice that they were to teach them everything that Jesus taught . and then it will put people on the right track instead of being led astray by manmade centuries old traditions of man .
