Re: Breaking the Sound Barrier

Nick, I went fishing yesterday, after wanting to learn more about sideslip, and wikipedia directed me to this page on the "Gimli Glider." I found the whole thing fascinating, and I am *way impressed* at how these pilots were able to handle a stalled 767 ... basically a flying BRICK I would imagine ... and slip the thing into a quasi-miraculous landing.

So, here's the flip side of the coin, so to speak, for anyone interested.

On a Theosophical note, sound is one of the "Seven Sons of Fohat," or Seven Brothers. This connection, of course, would take us back to the original Logos thread ... but whatever.

Yes. Best not to go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on when there's a perfectly good thread waiting over the hilltop as it were in that fair land where we'll never grow old unless it's the land of old people who never grow young but continue on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on until they get tired and fall asleep......

Good one Nick!

It is a well known fact that cats can't hold their liquor, and it can lead to the seven deadly sins, such as...

sloth...

gluttony...

lust...

and even murder...
