I have never claimed intellectual superiority over anyone on this forum. Unlike you. And I will not try to claim intellectual superiority over you, for 1: I am not an intellectual but a chef and 2: beacuse my EGO does not DEMAND that I am always right.

You have drawn several of us into absolutely pointless arguments to massage your ego with your hippocritical half-baked interpretations on history. You think you have the right to demand appologies from these people for the actions of people long dead. You have cited the words of pacifist 'bridge-builders, and called them your heroes, to tear away all possibility of mutual respect and understanding. You have refused at every turn to moderate your language to make it conducive to a rational discussion of any subject. You have posted a thread like this for the purpose I proposed you had at its very begining, to promote hate. In other words you refuse to be social, your promote your own hate, and you have not interest in giving anybody else's thoughts any thought at all. You are pathetic. Truly Pathetic.

It does not take an intellectual genius to know what your response will be. But I tell you this. You are the only one that thinks you are clever. Being 'intellectual' and being an 'asshole' are not mutualy exclusive. A fact you demonstrate to the point if there were a nobel prize for it you would most surely win it.

Vivekananda was an excellent chef himself, and was able to cook many dishes. After taking his classes and lectures in the west, he would cook tasty dishes for his disciples , who relished it. One female disciple addressed him in her memoirs as a father to her , even though he was very young.

Hate to provide fuel for his fire...but as I see where his commentary has taken me it speaks as much about me as he.

Gotta love it when someone defines our inadequacies, the areas we need to work on...even when that someone thinks they are doing one thing and actually fully accomplishing another.

To allow ourselves to sink to anothers level rather than raising the other up is a shame. Reminds me I need to work on Ruiz's agreement number two, Covey's first and fifth habit, as well as numerous items that I've indicated for others in the past!

And so what, if the Indian numeral system and mathematics have not come to Europe, there would be no education in the first place. And Vivekananda depended on Indian scholars and teachers themselves for his study of the vedas and Indian philosophy and sciences and arts.

Also funny you mentioned this, because the man on whom the Scottish church and all other churches are based on , the man on whom the whole of western culture is based on, has something to do with India.
