Certified Christian

This new banner for a Christian dating service is cracking me up. What does Certified Christian mean? Is it like USDA (U S Dept. of Agriculture) certified beef? Do the girls have a brand on their butt cheek "Certified Christian?"

I dunno, I have a weird sense of humor, but I find it hilarious.

Chris

Re: Certified Christian

Personally, I got visions of private investigators following each applicant around, making sure they attend church. There's a great way to start a trustful, communicative relationship-- show that you're so paranoid you'll get a "fake" Christian that you go with a company that "certifies" them. Oddity!

Re: Certified Christian

Yeah it would automatically objectify the person. The only choice remaining for the "certified" would be to take on the form of a graded and juicy haunch of meat, or to be a piece of postal detrius which would have to be signed for in order to be "delivered". It all sounds like some sort of ploy by the USPS to increase revenues.

flow....

Re: Certified Christian

I've never met a "certified" Christian, but I've met some that were "certifiable"!
