Re: "Change" ... Will Obama 'Bring It'?
There will be, given the problems we see now and those yet to surface, a lot of change. How well Obama can grip and steer the reigns of that change is the question. He has the 'aura' of a can-do statesman. Only the support of the people can make him a have-done statesman. Its not only in his hands but that of every American.

Me thinks I goofed. Well it isn't the first time. Anyhow learning to f--- oneself can save money on prostitution. Partial compensation at least.

I must ask Brian to include a choice of background music along with visual smileys to clarify intent. Tao definitely needs a violin sectiion to accompany his post

Well for the first time in goodness knows how long there is a president not sold to a very few interest groups from the beginning. We can only hope.

With all due respect, I think I would follow the money trail first before making that comment. Selling out is stock in trade in American politics...McCain was the first and so far ONLY attempt to get away from that aspect. Moot point now, but as for Obama being unbeholding...*not.*

Re: "Change" ... Will Obama 'Bring It'?
Obama has already brought change. I always imagine the "ship of state" as an actual ship. It's huge, and not quickly turned. Right now what interests me is the makeup of Obama's cabinet. We'll be able to see which political factions have an oar in the water when we know who the various functionaries of the Obama administration are.

Namaste all,
nope.. no change in any substantive manner.
two party politics and you've got Jack Johnson on one side and Joe Johnson on the other.. they happen to be clones of each other, of course.
there won't be real change until the Third American Revolution.
