i agree with this as an outline or example, rather than just a simple prayer to repeat over & over because we cant come up with one on our own.

not sure how it ever got titled Lords Prayer, but it still is beautiful whan said or sung.

Yeah, this is how, not what we should pray. And agree with the spiritual bread as well...love the contemplations on sevens...nice old thread.

For some reason feel compelled to toss in the Sufi invocation

Toward the One,
the Perfection of Love, Harmony, and Beauty,
the Only Being;
United with All the Illuminated Souls,
Who form the Embodiment of the Master,
the Spirit of Guidance.

Jesus at the well says he doesn't need water for if she were to have his water she'd never have to drink again...

Spritual bread, food for the soul, manna from heaven, ever had a time of prayer and meditation fill you up?

The constant support from spirit.

Bread is a profound symbol in agricultural worship, often along with wine - both of which are products created by humanity, from the ever changing cycles of nature.

Yeah he may of said that to the samaritan person.... But that obviously is bs isn't it? lol.... Days later the samaritan would be dead if they did not drink any more water from Jacob's well...... Or any water.... It is the second/third most important thing for the physical existance of a life form here :P

This is daily bread.... That is food you know the term daily bread I am sure... If it's spiritual bread lol... Why not say?.... But alas it is the bible is it not.... Many twisted words in it.

Re: Christian Lord's Prayer related to Jewish Kaddish?

As to the link to the Kadish, I think we are somewhat in agreement at the time when Jesus was asked how to pray and anwered it, this was a Jew answering Jews yes?

Anyone read Rocco Errico's Setting a Trap for G!d?
