Not quite a belated flying tomato, but might I add that the Eagles made the popular version of this song. It was actually written by a fellow named Jack Tempchin. I had the fortune to catch him perform his signature tune at a Jan and Dean concert many moons ago.

I'm on a spiral staircase too. But the one I'm on must have been made by Max Escher...
Which way *is* up???

If that's the case, you might want to bring your charcoal and chalk, along with a sharp sense of discernment, in order to identify the self-referencing circular reasoning that causes confusion, and correct the highlighting and shading accordingly.

No some amazing sidewalk art.
I really enjoy Escher and the stairs, hands drawing themselves, etc.
But these guys are amazing in their ability to warp perspective and twist you into believing you are seeing something you are not.
I'm sure the analogies to religions, gov'ts and philosophies abound here.
take a look at the pictures and while you can be confounded, be sure to look at the pictures from the 'wrong' perspective and see how nothing exists there at all...another metaphor?

Re: Coming full circle
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
