completely useless thread
I was accused of creating a useless thread...
So what the heck...far be it from me to make anyone wrong.
The absolutely positively derailable thread.
No rails.
No politics.
No religion.
Post at wil.
Just toying around in the lounge.

Oooh, I like a challenge.
So, staying on topic...what is the definition of a completely useless thread?

Careful Luna,
If we figure that out, it won't be useless.

one that won't connect two pieces of the cosmic fabric
hmm if a thread does connect two or more pieces of the cosmic fabric...
does ironing create a fold in the fabric and a new concept?
does gathering assist in melding concepts?
would basting make a temporary connection?
what does a dart or pleat do?
please do not answer as this may end up going somewhere...dammit
(does that count as religious?)
hmmm, is sacreligem allowed in the lounge? apolitics?

You know that is the problem, I am finding great use for my useless thread...a place to send derailed bits...bits you've got no real need to derail the thread like the following...

Mindless on purpose? That's it, creation isn't a cosmic accident it is a cosmic on purpose.
See that response was clearly not something that had any right to derail a thread...absolutely useless in continuing the conversation in any direction, not a tangent, simply an obtuse observation. These could be placed here...but then it won't quite be useless.
I know you folks can do it, there is no need for any of this to relate to anything...make it useless.
Careful on the comedy...someone might enjoy it.
