Re: What will WE be Like in Heaven?

Actually I do. While some of it is good, JW's have a distorted view of the Holy Spirit and they feel their salvation is works-based. Also there is the trinity.

i would say that we have an accurate knowledge about what the holy spirit is, and i would agree with the bible when it says that Faith without works is dead. and also we dont take on manmade doctrines such as the trinity. so rather than being distorted i would say it is .......... the way

Revelation 22:18

Do I owe an apology? Are you know longer wielding watchtowers (works-based salvation) nor touting the N.L.T. (an inaccurate translation)?
i am glad to say that i most certainly do read and take on board the watchtower mag because it is a very good mag that always leads me in the right direction , and that is to the bible , yet another of the provisions and blessings from Jehovah. matthew 24;45-47i love the way that the mag keeps watch on world events as these fullfill bible prophecy ,yes as the mag says on the front cover ................. THE WATCHTOWER ANNOUNCING JEHOVAHS KINGDOM. this goodnews that Gods kingdom will soon destroy those who oppress their fellow men , and that it will turn the earth into a paradise is great news indeed Daniel 2;44 .and pointing people to the bible and its wonderful promises is the way to go . yes the watchtower mag has the bible as its aurthority. and yes the verse you mentioned is so true, adding to the word of God the bible is not something that anyone should do. which brings to mind this verse
(Deuteronomy 4:2) YOU must not add to the word that I am commanding YOU, neither must YOU take away from it, so as to keep the commandments of Jehovah YOUR God that I am commanding YOU................. taking anything away is also a no no , that is why the NEW WORLD TRANSLATION BIBLE published byJehovahs witnesses has put the name of God back into its rightfull place nearly 7,000 times, because that is where it should be . just as God put it there in the original inspired scriptures.
That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah,

You alone are the Most High over all the earth.psalm 83;18 yes the watchtower mag is not the bible , it is very good reading material that leads us to the bible. so dont think that the mag is added on to the bible , it is to exult Jehovah God as sovereign of the universe. and in this time of the end Jesus is using a channel to get the job done and he is feeding that channel with lots of tasty spiritual food matthew 24;45-47 yum yum

i think they will find that their form of christianity leads them away from good spiritual food matthew 24;45-47 they are told by their religious leaders not to speak with Jehovahs witnesses ,but sticking to the bible is the best coarse to take .
Taste and see that Jehovah is good, O YOU people;
Happy is the able-bodied man that takes refuge in him. psalm 34;8

Re: What will WE be Like in Heaven?

ok getting back to heaven ,it seems that those who are going to heaven will be singing as if a new song that no one else can sing.
And I heard a sound out of heaven as the sound of many waters and as the sound of loud thunder; and the sound that I heard was as of singers who accompany themselves on the harp playing on their harps. And they are singing as if a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth." (Revelation 14:2, 3)
And what is this "new song"?
In 1914 the Messianic Kingdom was born. (Revelation 12:10) and
Jehovah’s people on earth began to announce "the word of the kingdom" with renewed zeal.
Why is it, though, that only the 144,000 are able to learn the song mentioned at Revelation 14:3? Because it has to do with their experiences as chosen heirs of God’s Kingdom.
They alone are adopted as sons of God and anointed with holy spirit. They alone are bought from the earth to become part of that heavenly Kingdom, and they alone "will be priests . . . and will rule as kings" with Jesus Christ for a thousand years to bring mankind to perfection. They alone are seen to be "singing as if a new song"
Nevertheless, others listen and respond to their singing.
(John 10:16; Revelation 7:9)

why would i want to do that , Jehovahs people are feeding straight from Jesus hand matthew 24;45-47 and he has the aurthority from his father Jehovah.
This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ. john 17;3 i like feeding from the channel Jesus is using , it is good food disigned to keep me healthy.
And the Lord said: "Who really is the faithful steward, the discreet one, whom his master will appoint over his body of attendants to keep giving them their measure of food supplies at the proper time? luke 12;32
(1 Corinthians 4:2) Besides, in this case, what is looked for in stewards is for a man to be found faithful................ faithfulness leads to great blessings enlightenment indeed.

Re: What will WE be Like in Heaven?

Why? lol because you are like a freaking robot... You know, even in the JW faith... Individuality is a GOOD thing right? Your god, doesn't want a human that is a mere shell, no personality... Just barks out, word FOR word... What some website says... He wants a person to be themself... And to take on his teachings and then with some emotion lol.... Express himself personally and let them effect his life. If your god wanted androids, more loyal than a dog, he'd of made us this way... But your "special" You are 100% different than anyone else... He knows how many hairs are on your head right? Says that in your book... So he likes to see individuals, characters

If I wrote a book and then at the end said why it was good.... And I asked you if you liked my book and you said yes... And I then asked why? And you then repeated word for word what I said in the book... I wouldn't buy it, if I did I wouldn't be pleased, because you haven't shown how it has effected you personally and your thoughts and such ;/ Got to have thoughts lol.

If you live just like a robot lol where is the fun and such? Loosen up brah....

--EDIT--

But, I do however know you don't listen 100% to the watchtower...

2 Cor 6:14 Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness? 15 Further, what harmony is there between Christ and Be´li·al? Or what portion does a faithful person have with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols? For we are a temple of a living God; just as God said: “I shall reside among them and walk among [them], and I shall be their God, and they will be my people.” 17 “‘Therefore get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’”; “‘and I will take YOU in.’”

2 Cor 11:13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light. 15 It is therefore nothing great if his ministers also keep transforming themselves into ministers of righteousness. But their end shall be according to their works.

Gal 5:9 A little leaven ferments the whole lump.

Deut 7:
1 “When Jehovah your God at last brings you into the land to which you are going so as to take possession of it, he must also clear away populous nations from before you, the Hit´tites and the Gir´ga·****es and the Am´or·ites and the Ca´naan·ites and the Per´iz·zites and the Hi´vites and the Jeb´u·sites, seven nations more populous and mighty than you are. 2 And Jehovah your God will certainly abandon them to you, and you must defeat them. You should without fail devote them to destruction. You must conclude no covenant with them nor show them any favor. 3 And you must form no marriage alliance with them. Your daughter you must not give to his son, and his daughter you must not take for your son. 4 For he will turn your son from following me, and they will certainly serve other gods; and Jehovah’s anger will indeed blaze against YOU, and he will certainly annihilate you in a hurry.
5 “On the other hand, this is what YOU should do to them: Their altars YOU should pull down, and their sacred pillars YOU should break down, and their sacred poles YOU should cut down, and their graven images YOU should burn with fire.

Interfaith movements? Why are you here then?

If you don't believe in "manmande" doctrines, what do you say the Holy Spirit is? And since we're on teh subject why do we baptise in the name of "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit?"
