Re: Different 'types' of Christianity

Jauntoo3,

You should understand that language should not be a barrier to understanding any concept that is established in scripture. Whether a particular English word is or is not found in the Bible is not important. What is important is whether the concept is found. The original language in which the text was written reveals that the concept of a sudden catching up is valid. Also, I really want to get across to you that I believe we can disagree on these none essential theological issues. And because of that, I have nothing to say except that the teaching of the rapture predates Margaret MacDonald, and that you will not really understand the rapture unless you study it from its Jewish roots and perspective.

All that said however, and to be quite honest. Im just happy to be talking with a brother in the Lord.

In Christ,

People who don't know other languages or aware of other cultures would say something like that. If that was the case, the whole world would be expressing itself in like manner.

It means everything. The masses are lead by what they understand the bible is saying. For those who don't just believe everything they hear and want to be lead the right way, it means everything.
