Hope no-one minds me posting, but this was always my favourite from reading the bible many years ago:

Mark 12:29-31

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.

And the second [is] like, [namely] this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

WE are now in the last days ,and many are being instructed in the ways of the most high Jehovah
and they are not learning war anymore . and he is setting things straight
(Psalm 25:8) Good and upright is Jehovah. That is why he instructs sinners in the way.

its all happening in these the last days for those who are willing to be taught by the most high Jehovah.
(Luke 9:35) And a voice came out of the cloud, saying: “This is my Son, the one that has been chosen. Listen to him.”

Those who are faithful to Jesus and listen to him are taking in good spiritual food at the right time from the one that is chosen by the most high. and it is Jesus matthew 24;45-47 yes Jesus is the PRINCE OF PEACE and his followers are being taught PEACE .would you not agree that it is good to know that PEACE is being taught to ones from all nations right now in this the last days ? REVELATION 7;9-10 but the question is do we want the way to peace or do we pass by that mountain of the most high. i think it has a lot to do with our ATTITUDE many say that they want peace but only on their terms not on Gods terms .

Jehovah has done a marvelous thing in this “the final part of the days.” He has gathered from all nations people who want to serve him. He has taught them to walk in his ways, ways of peace. These are the ones who will survive the coming “great tribulation” and pass into a peaceful new world in which war will be abolished forever.—Revelation 7:14.

The problem Mee, is when humans put their signature to God's timeline. God is a respector of no person, no religion, no faith, and no chosen few. That's why "end timers" don't always come out smelling so sweet. JWs have a particular passion for pegging dates, and then coming up short (like the boy that crys "wolf"). The end of times we are specifically told, not to concern ourselves with, for a reason...1914, for example, doesn't matter, since it happened in the past. Tomorrow doesn't matter, since it hasn't occured yet. What matters is today, right now, this moment.

Instead of saying "Come to God because the end is near", we should be saying "Come to God, because He Loves you and wants to take away your pain, and fill you with joy and peace of mind".
