I think the term is "Ye are gods"...hence God like, but not God. However some Christian sects think that we will become Gods in our own right...is this what you think?

I put this in the Christianity forum because things posted in general monothesim tend to get overlooked a lot. However, anyone who has a favorite Bible passage is welcome to post it here. Oh, one last suggestion (sorry for the micromanaging), please do not criticize/debate other people's quotes or stories. Oh, one more last thing, no need to limit yourself to just one post here.

Too many good verses to quote just one, but my favorite book is Song of Solomon.
I would say my favorite verse in that book is a simple one liner...
"...your name is perfume poured out..."
So simple, but so delightful.
