The storm hit, the power went out, and I left town. I went south to Tennessee to the Rainbow Gathering....while my neighborhood was figthing high eighties for lows and low hundreds for highs, I was in the woods blissfully without power and low eighties for highs and high 60's for lows....

Those nasty thunderbumpers when they came through the woods every few days was a glorious opportunity for all of us to shower and get refreshed....

Back home now, with power and better weather....
