Graphics Cards...
No one here would happen to know anything about Graphics cards?
Just got my hands on an ATI X1800xl [all in wonder]..... It has no standard blue connection point..... Just a white connection... What cable do I need? Also.... Can that be connected to plasma...
lol, I won't hold my breath....

Re: Graphics Cards...
what's a graphics card? Got any threes?
Plasma, I remember that from ghost busters...
blue and white connection cables sounds like some sort of modern art stuff...
ps If he gets a good answer I wanna know if anyone knows what I should bid on a five unit building with netting 2456 before loan costs, the auctioneer get 10% on top of the bid, figure 6.5% for closing costs, I'd like to put down 20% and the loan will be 30 yr fixed at 6.5 no points, I'm figuring a 8% improvement on the market would like a 10% CAPrate and would like at least 1k a month in cashflow...can anyone give me a maximum bid price.

I was never much for the chase, the dragon always came to me.
Now I just watch them fly by and others chase them...

Re: Graphics Cards...
Which one?
My main one;
Power unit: 700w.
Processor: Intel X6800 (core 2 extreme ).
MotherBoard: Intel D975 (core 2 extreme ).
2gb RAM. (standard on all my computers)
8 internal fans (sounds like a plane taking off on boot up.)
1TB of Hard drive space.
Soon to have the ATI X1900 Card.... I get it on Thursday.
My mother (60 years old or whatever) Has left overs from my computer making and she has;
power unit: 450w
No idea which board I used on that.
Intel 3.2ghz processor.
2gb RAM
300GB hard drive space
6 internal fans
Geforce 7600 card
She will never use half of that lol..... But anyway, the non average PC would for sure beat a Mac.....

Re: Graphics Cards...
In that case an 8 core or even quad core macpro could leave you in the dust. And that's without the need for anti-virus software running to bog it down.

Re: Graphics Cards...
White connector is for digital out, blue for analog. I'm surprised it didn't come with an adapter. You can buy one aftermarket.

Re: Graphics Cards...
Hey china... I kinda of "found" the X1800 it had no adapter I got one from my bits and bobs... But connecting it to my plasma it doesn't like it lol....
Dauer? QUE!?
Graphics: It shows this Macpro comes with: FX4500 or 7300 Geforce lol.... Hello? X1900... Owned? I think so....
It's got me on HDD space... but who the pluck needs 3TB lol...
My processor is clocked and outspeeds that chipset.
My motherboard certain beats that mac's board... Apart from that I am getting a nasty rash being on a mac site, so I have to leave it now... Ugh tacky thing....

That's what's standard. If you kept reading it says under tech specs: "Multiple graphics card configurations including two, three, or four NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT cards"
You can view all of the customization options which, contrary to popular belief, don't all have to be bought through apple: " The Apple Store (U.S.) "

Re: Graphics Cards...
Mac vs. PC: The revenge of the PC*chuckles*
I was just reading on about.com (or something to that extent) the ten reasons apple offer to PC users to switch to Mac.... One of them is "the missing link to photos..... Iphoto" Now, call me silly but I am sure as hell, Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Elements 5 beat some freeware..... :|
Hmm looking at these prices... You wouldn't say that they are over priced? The closest I could get that to my computer.... Subtotal Please note that your subtotal does not include sales tax or rebates. $6,531.00 Ouch..... Hmm although I guess I am not taking money exchange into pounds.... Still... :\
I need a booster shot before I go on the Mac site again...
