Group Memberships
Yeah, i saw there was a place in everyones profile that says "Group Memberships" but no one is in one, niether am i for that matter! I was just wondering if you could join a group and if so how?

Sorry for any misunderstandings -
the software we use allows people to be placed in "membergroups" so as to have special rules applied to how they interract with the forum - most people are in the membergroup "registered", which means able to post, etc, but there are also other groups such as "moderators" and "banned". Hopefully those are self-explanatory.  It is possible to create forums with very complex groups - for example, make only certain boards accessible to certain member groups (such as Site staff for accessing the Staff Room) but on a wider scale, only allow members to have avatars once certain conditions have been filled, and so on. Generally, we try to keep things less complicated here, and long may it remain so.
