Can anybody guide me to what to read out of the freely available texts on the net from b/c there is so much text available & I dont know what to read & where to start from . I am more interested in philosophical/enlightment/meditation associated stuff . And also the association b/w these thoughts .

Hello Farhan

If you are new to Buddhism might I suggest anything written by the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh? I lean heavily on the Zen tradition, but find his writing to be very acessible for newcomers to Eastern ideas
