Re: if i disappear you will know why
[quote=winner08;173648]You and the JW have what they believe is the truth.quote]
we certainly do and its all in that pure language of truth
the truth of what the bible REALLY teaches is very good. and all of those Jehovahs witnesses are in unity of thought .
Jehovah causes to become .
What Factors Contribute to Unity?
We acknowledge Jehovah’s right to set the standard as to good and bad.
"Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding. In all your ways take notice of him, and he himself will make your paths straight."Proverbs 3:5, 6.
we seek Jehovah’s counsel and guidance when making decisions? (Psalm 146:3-5; Isaiah 48:17)
We have God’s Word to guide us. "When you received God’s word, which you heard from us, you accepted it, not as the word of men, but, just as it truthfully is, as the word of God, which is also at work in you believers."—1 Thessalonians 2:13.
there would be a danger in simply doing what we "feel" is right? (Proverbs 14:12; Jeremiah 10:23, 24; 17:9)
and if we do not know what counsel the Bible gives on a certain matter, what should we do? (Proverbs 2:3-5; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17)
We all benefit from the same spiritual feeding program. "All your sons will be persons taught by Jehovah." (Isaiah 54:13)
"Let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day [of destruction] drawing near."Hebrews 10:24, 25.
benefits come to those who take full advantage of Jehovah’s arrangements for spiritual feeding? (Isaiah 65:13, 14)
Jesus Christ, and no human, is our Leader. "Do not you be called Rabbi, for one is your teacher, whereas all you are brothers. Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One. Neither be called ‘leaders,’ for your Leader is one, the Christ."—Matthew 23:8-10.
Should any of us believe that we are superior to others? no way (Romans 3:23, 24; 12:3)
We look to God’s Kingdom government as the only hope for humankind. "You must pray, then, this way: ‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.’ Keep on, then, seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness."—Matthew 6:9, 10, 33.
"seeking first the kingdom" help safeguard our unity? (Micah 4:3; 1 John 3:10-12)
Holy spirit produces in worshipers of Jehovah qualities that are vital to Christian unity. "The fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control."—Galatians 5:22, 23.
What must we do in order for God’s spirit to produce its fruitage in us? (Acts 5:32)
All of God’s true worshipers share in preaching the good news of his Kingdom. "This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."—Matthew 24:14.
and we are all motivated to want to have a full share in this preaching activity? (Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 10:10)
Unitedly worshiping Jehovah draws us closer to him and enables us to enjoy refreshing association with fellow believers.
Psalm 133:1 says: "Look! How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!"
its all happening around the world
and its all VERY GOOD

No mee, you cut and paste what your church has provided on their website.
Although you maybe correct it is us with the problem, and it isn't with biblical truth or belief, it is with your tendencies which you don't wish to change.
If you disappear it won't be because you believe in what the bible teaches or you discuss what the bible teaches, it will be because you are playing in someone elses sandbox and can't abide. Becuase you've been asked by numerous people, numerous times, numerous ways to play nice and quit throwing sand in other people's eyes and claiming G!d told you to.
Surely you will go back to your compatriots and claim martyrship, "they got rid of me because I told the truth!' and surely your compatriots will all chorus yeah, mee what a fine withness you are. And out of your thousands of posts I don't believe you caused one, not one here to be interested in your church beliefs. Quite the opposite, you've got them driving by kingdom halls wondering if everyone who walks thru those doors is like mee, and feeling sorry for their coworkers and neighbors.
Yes back to the sandbox analogy, when someone has created a nice place for the kids to come to play, to discuss, to imagine, and the cat keeps coming in and doing its business...eventually they tire of cleaning up after the cat and scolding the cat and have to get rid of the cat.
That is if that cat can't learn.

Re: if i disappear you will know why
The "kitchen" is hot as "hell". And standard "recipies" don't make for come back customers. Trick is to take the base recipy and add a little spice, or a different way of preparing the "meal". Then people become curious.
For example Mee, in what way has God changed your life? Hmmm? What impact have you had on others because of God?
I know atheists who have had significant impact (good impact) on their fellow man, and I cry for them because they had no faith. But I feel bad for you, because your faith is without foundation, no substance...you just wait for the end, while people suffer, and you could make a difference. Yet you sit here and quote all the good stuff, without one thing to show for it.
There are "billboards" and there are "builders". Billboards are ignored...
Builders are not, because there is something new being created and that catches our attention.
what and/or who are you?

Re: if i disappear you will know why
[quote=Quahom1;173720]But I feel bad for you, because your faith is without foundation, no substance..quote]
and i feel good because of my faith
Hebrews 11:1: "Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld."
Looking ahead to that in which servants of the living God have for centuries anchored their confidence,
Peter said: "But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." (2 Pet. 3:13)
This is an assured expectation, and the assurance lies in that the One who promises them is also their Creator.
and its all very good

Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth. MATTHEW 5;5

In reference to the title of this thread: " if i disappear you will know why"
I'm reminded of the story about a Marine just released from active duty and newly registered in a class taught by an avowed Atheist. The teacher shocked several of his students when he flatly stated he was going to prove there was no God. Addressing the ceiling he shouted: “God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I’ll give you 15 minutes!”
The lecture room fell silent. You could have heard a pin fall. Ten minutes went by. Again he taunted God, saying, “Here I am, God. I’m still waiting.”
His count-down got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine walked up to the professor, hit him full force in the face, and sent him tumbling from his lofty platform, knocking him out cold. At first, the students were shocked and babbled in confusion. The young Marine took a seat in the front row and sat silent. The class fell silent…waiting.
Eventually, the professor came to, shaken. He looked at the young Marine in the front row. When the professor regained his senses and could speak he asked: “What’s the matter with you? Why did you do that?”
“God was busy, so He sent me.”
Moral of the story mee, be careful for what you ask for...

This is a public forum, not a "sandbox," or whatever other fill in the blank metaphor you guys want to pull out of your rears. If you're going to ban him and don't have a good reason, then just do it without giving one.

Re: if i disappear you will know why
All analogies aside, from what I understand, the only real problem here is that a good chunk of mee's posts are straight cut and paste from other websites.
I'd be happy if mee could just write what s/he has to say in his/her own words, rather than the old cut/paste routine, which is not only not dialogue, but is also plagiarism.
I have nothing against the JW perspective or mee's opinions, beliefs, etc.
But I do know that if all I did was cut/paste from Druidry and Mystic Christian websites and, furthermore, did this without citing my sources... over and over and over again... well, I'd get a talking to and infraction pretty quick, I'd imagine.
