Iraq War Veterans for Peace
There is the organization Iraq Veterans Against the War who are doing incredible work, but what I want to share with this post is a video of an Iraq veteran engaged in non-violent performance art protest:
Aaron Hughes | Projects Cool stuff. The end is kind of chlling, I think: traffic resumes, just another day of commuters. Except now the cars are running over a chalked white dove, symbolically rendering peace irrelevant under the march of oil-fueled machines. What an illustration of priorites, no? |
