Hey, Quahom! We the guys! Pisces rule!
Wil: Amen!
My view: Up in Heaven, its matinee time on a rainy Thursday afternoon. All's quiet, so the guys decide to chill out and take in a movie. They flit over to the MetaMoviePlex, and the Dude says, "what's on?"
Pete says "The Greatest Story Ever Told."
Dude says, "what's it about?"
Pete says, "You."
"Nah," Dude says, "I know what happens in that one. Anything else?"
"Yep," says John, "This one, "(insert title here)", it's a girl-guy thing about a couple who heard what you said, and took it on board."
"Really?" Dude says, "that sounds interesting ..."

It's that thing again - Do we put a picture of Jesus on the wall and polish the glass every day or do we start practising what he preached?
ET - yes that's the classic. The Easter story all over again. Not to forget Harry Potter of course (controversial!). My favourites include The Lion King and Pleasantville - oh controversial again! There must be more but I can't bring them to mind.

As usual I can't speak for anyone else but I don't know the Joel of which you speak. I typically read the King James Version, but also compare it to many others.

Funny. I don't recall asking you to "amen" with me.

Joel Osteen is considered to be part of the Word of Faith movement, which has drawn criticism from many in the Christian community.[15]
On a 2005 broadcast of Larry King Live, Joel Osteen refused to say that Jesus Christ was the only way to get to Heaven, instead saying, "Only God can look at somebody's heart."[16]
In late 2006, Osteen again appeared on Larry King Live choosing to clarify his prior statement, saying he believes a personal relationship with Christ is the only way to Heaven.[17] Osteen also said he chooses to teach about the goodness of God rather than sin. [18]
Al Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and board member of Focus on the Family, has publicly criticized Osteen for what he calls a weak stance on homosexuality, calling him a "pandering prophet" and not presenting a "clear declaration of biblical truth".[19]
Osteen has also been criticized for preaching a prosperity gospel. [20]

A Christian film builds christ-like qualities.. I do not believe it has to have "Christ" in it.
