Re: Just a stranger on a bus
I am freaking loving it! The guy that proclaims christ as lord on the bus.....
Or are you meaning from the song... "If god were one of us....." ?
If the first answer is you, lets have a good ol' sing song! Come on knees up mother!
Or if you are claiming to be god..... How can you prove you are god?

Re: Just a stranger on a bus
Hello 17th Angel.
You know, I love a good ol' sing along:
"... tryin to find his home, nobody calling on the phone. Except for the Pope maybe, in Rome"
If I proved who I was then it would spoil all the fun eh?
Your a kind hearted chap. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Re: Just a stranger on a bus
Kind hearted? You can see that in me eh?
Well I just thought, if you were god, you'd know me more than I knew myself, so was curious to see if you would enlighten me....
"And yeah yeah god is great, yeah yeah god is good, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah...." (that's me joining in the sing song btw lol.)

Re: Just a stranger on a bus
Enlightment comes mostly through hard work and good jokes. Either that or from meeting saints, but that's a much less common occurance from my experience.
Do you know any more good songs? Bob Marley is one of my personal favourites.

Why bother with hard work if you have "almighty god" right in front of you... It's like buy one get one free day at Tescos....

I know many good songs... Not all would be your taste I believe... But, I am sure we can find something to amuse.... How about, Snow Patrol - Open your eyes.....
"All this feels strange and untrue
And I won't waste a minute without you
My bones ache, my skin feels cold
And I'm getting so tired and so old
The anger swells in my guts
And I won't feel these slices and cuts
I want so much to open your eyes
'Cause I need you to look into mine
Tell me that you'll open your eyes [x4]
Get up, get out, get away from these liars
'Cause they don't get your soul or your fire
Take my hand, knot your fingers through mine
And we'll walk from this dark room for the last time
Every minute from this minute now
We can do what we like anywhere
I want so much to open your eyes
'Cause I need you to look into mine
Tell me that you'll open your eyes [x8]
All this feels strange and untrue
And I won't waste a minute without you"

Welcome to CR, Almighty God. Gee, you seem familiar. Have we met before?

Re: Just a stranger on a bus
Also one more thing to contemplate, IF you are not really god, oh boy are you in trouble.... Partial to chess and ice cream I see? Nice.

Which one of us is the free one and which one has to be bought?
I havn't spent much time listening to Snow Patrol, but they are interesting lyrics:
Take my hand, knot your fingers through mine
And we'll walk from this dark room for the last time
All this feels strange and untrue
And I won't waste a minute without you
It's deep brother!
Hello Seattlegal, yes I think we may have met before, maybe in a previous incarnation?
In trouble... me?

Namaste AG,
Welcome to CR. Love the Helix Nebula, aka 'Eye of G!d' always looks to me as if I am looking out this universe and into another.

Oh Jeebus. In a strange twist of events, it looks like Angel has sent us one of his Gods.
Gonna have fun with this one, I see.

Hmm... what common saying starts with "wakey wakey..."?
Does anyone have any questions they would like to address to the God Almighty?

I've got a ton of them. Can you start with these two?
1. If buttered bread always lands butter side down and a cat always lands on its feet. If I taped a buttered bread to the back of a cat, which way would it land?
2. Can you make a rock so big you can't lift it?
