Re: Korean War.

I already had my own opinion/answer Wil, I was curious to see others views and I have been only recently aware of DPRK and it's history and it's current status for like a week or two... Apart from that I just knew that there was a civil war backed by imperialists!! and comrades! in 1950's.

But now looking into it, there is so much more, and I have found I am not the only one that had no idea about North Korea..... And it is quite amazing to open others eyes lol. It was sparked by seeing the Norths Capital Pyongyang images of this just instantly struck me with images of Famagusta A place I have visited a couple times in Cyprus.

Oh maybe you wanted me answer?

I feel that most of the what the party has to say is propaganda and lies, the majority of their words are to distort truth, humiliate the imperialists! and also to incite hatred. They need to encourage with their "facts" their people to hate these yanky dogs, and not rest an ounce until the americans are dead. lol.... Pretty much how it is.

There is only one TV channel in North Korea, and when it isn't going on about the Dear leader and the Great leader... It's going on about them damn evil devil imperialists! There is a radio channel also in North Korea.. Which is constantly played in the main cities homes... You cannot turn the radios off... You can turn them a bit down... But never off... And when that isn't going on about how special the dear leader and great leader are guess what it bangs on about?

Yup... them devil yankees!

Their museums.... Their Library..... Their Schools.... = Distorted reality and incitment of hatred.

You know as a child in North Korea, you are taught from the young young ages like 2yr lol that Americans cannot cease but invade as many countries as they can, that they are always invading and occupying someone elses land.... Devil imperialists wil!

Re: Korean War.

lol lets do it.

Yeah some of famagusta is occupied by the Turkish army thats why it looks like a dump. Cyprus is the only country in the European Union that is illegally occupied by a forign non EU army. The rest of Cyprus is governed by the republic of Cyprus its as free as any other country in Europe and probably richer then many others aswell. I really cant see a comparison between North Korea and Cyprus. This picture is taken in Famagusta in one of the worlds biggest clubbing captials Agia Napa, this is the non occupied side though.

Interesting.
Actually, I do not see what could be fascinating about N. Korea.
What I saw just creeped me out.
Not interested in ever going there.
Nope. Nada. Nyet.
You seem to have a morbid fascination going there Alex M8.

Millions die in N.Korea from starvation, torture and so on... This dude needs to go.. They keep talking about "serious punishment" but... I don't see it. Or maybe they are hoping that Kim Jong Il will pop his clogs soon... This old fart isn't going anywhere for a long time... he even said that he wishes to be the oldest tyrant to live lol!!! And besides when he goes....

They think it's all over? Kim jong un (his youngest son and successor... I'll put money on it lol) Is -JUST- like him..... So..... This doesn't stop here....... When Kim Jong Il gives it up.....

Re: Korean War.

I personally need some help on all this. I mean we decided to get rid of Sadam but the world says you can't assasinate leaders, so instead it is ok to go in with a coalition of the willing and kill hundreds of thousands of civilians in order to install a puppet gov't that will execute the leader.

Does this make sense to anyone?

Re: Korean War.

It makes sense to me.... But I guess I see it different... I see thousands... Millions.... Dying from starvation, from torture, from oppression of freedom of rights and will... And this **** isn't going to stop. Ever, -unless- something is done.... NKorea is obviously pushing and pushing and pushing to get what? To get a reaction... Man the world said Don't fire missles that is bad Kim wtf!? So he fires one.... Then he firest three more..... Then he sets off a nuke.... The world is going freaking crazy as **** and they tell him off again and then to provoke them more... He fires another freaking four land to air missles into international waters lol....

Then threatens artillery assualts on Seoul. (SKorea capital.... only like 70km from the DMZ easily in hitting distance.) So not only is he attempting to provoke... He is now not only threatening the lives of his own people but now he is looking to threaten the lives of people not even in his land.... Which the capabilities they have they can pretty much hit -anywhere- in Japan with missle strikes.... If they have already devloped the tech to attach nuke wareheads to these rockets imagine what they can do?

Thailand.... SKorea... NKorea.... Asia is under threat... And this is what they are hinting towards if any provoke them... They say any nation that provokes them will be dealt terrible blows...

This man is a ****. lol there is no room for him or his primitive non effective regime... the **** must go... There is a greater cause here... And normally I know, I am all like... Don't kill and look after life... But, the lives that would be lost in a war would save so many more... This is no Sadam Wil....

Re: Korean War.

so again....why not a surgical strike. Why not special forces. Why kill hundreds of thousands of innocent North koreans? I say innocent because they've all been brainwashed by this regime... (of course I've been brainwashed by mine....)

Re: Korean War.

Guided missles are one option of course... This is effective but... I feel that they shouldn't be used on most locations... SAS as i mentioned.. Would be good... They can easily assassinate Kim. But you see will.. As soon as this is a war... Within moments... casualites -cannot- be avoided.... You are aware of the DMZ? This is the DeMilitarized Zone, also known as a buffer zone, it basically is a border... That seperates the north from the south in Korea. Which was created in the ceasefire treaty from the Korean civil war in 1953 brah. (it is only a cease fire they still are at war... Peace has never been declared nor signed on.) It's deadly... There are like multipule eletric fences..... The most heavily landmined area in -the world- millions of mines.... and it is about 160 miles or something like that in length and all the way across it soldiers face off..... there is only like a distance of 2miles between them (width of the DMZ)

So why am I banging on about this crap? Because...... as I mentioned, there are soldiers... 2 million soldiers on this border... As soon as a war is started... These are the first to die.... This is why in the first few hours... The casualites of this war will be the worst... And that is why you cannot avoid harming the brainwashed soldiers of the north.

Each side loathes.... I mean really detests the other side.... Very zealous and eager to kill one another... In the inncident of the axe murders (two american offciers killed by axes) south koreans even tied freaking land mines to the chests and screamed for the northern soldiers to cross the border... I mean this will be messy when it happens.

So even air strikes missles strikes from sea... Special forces assassinations.... Will cause the DMZ reaction.

Still at war?? If I remember correctly they never were at war. Somebody can help me here but wasn't this conflict labeled a 'police action'? After WW2 we didn't use the word War again (as it was illegal) didn't use it again till GW1 and GW2...

Re: Korean War.

Oh no it was certainly a war man.... Kim Il sung. (Jong Il's father) finally convinced Stalin who wasn't so eager with the idea (in fear of US reactions) to allow him to "reunite" the south and the north....

Il sung said... Don't worry stalin me old comrade! I'll get this done in thirty days... Obviously this war started in 50..... And "ended" in 1953.... So his claim wasn't that accurate nor a success... but along the 38th Parallel (where China and USA had partitioned Korea) is where they ended up from the war..... So even by the end of three years... They had made no real progress and the 38th became the DMZ.

Anway! lol it came to sign the -ceasefire- and the americans were all like fine lets freaking do this! here in this tent along the 38th and lets get working towards peace... But Koreans didn't want that in the north spent three days to build a building... Signed the 53 ceasefire... (after over 1000 meetings lol) but no.. Peace was not agreed... And the war isn't over....... So any moment.... It could..... *clicks fingers* go freaking mental... And I'd say... *glances at his watch* it's looking like a high tide is coming soon.......
