Some ppl say yes n some say no. My sister in law had it done, she ended up with burns to her face.

lasering hair away works, but... for best results, the skin needs to be white, and the hair needs to be dark. It's due to how the laser reacts with the melanin. People like me, covered in hair, but white hair, will get rubbish results. If the skin is dark, then the laser might burn you, due to the high melanin content.

if you want it gone the only proven method is electrolysis. laser will and can make it thinner and softer but it will come back and you'll have to go back to the laser.

there are all manner of new lasers though and who's to say that some enterprising scientist won't invent one that works with, say, pulsed light that is effective for all skin/hair color combinations? right now, however, that doesn't exist.

An s-word in the field of cosmetics? I suggest that a word like 'therapy' does not necessarily mean to destroy, mutilate, or remove, as with chemo-therapy to stop a cancer. If so, the physics may be entirely different than what you believe, or are accustomed to.
