I've never had anything quite like it. The chocolate and coffee flavors are very noticeable. I think I may like it more than guiness, very rich and layered. But it's not a beer that I would drink as frequently as guiness were both as easy to find at a bar. It tastes like beer, but not ordinary, have-a-couple-beers beer.
