I'm not sure. This forum supports embedding you tube vids, but I'm not sure about anything else. Maybe ask in the feedback section? I really don't know. Btw, you are not troubling me at all. Feedback - Interfaith forums

The person who loaded the vid on you-tube requested it be disabled. I suppose you could contact them directly on their you-tube channel if you wish to embed it.

Traditionally the akoustikoi had to take the vow of silence ... and monks in other traditions have often done the same (medieval Christian monasticism is a good example). I think this is for several reasons, but gaining humility is probably one of the desired outcomes. The practice may not be practical in today's world - certainly not for me, at present. But I sure do need the results I would likely gain! ;)

I have sometimes wondered if I might not have been a student, several incarnations ago, in the Pythagorean School ... just such an akoustikoi! If so, I sure wish I could recall some of the realizations I might have had ...

Somewhere I have a couple of books on Krotona. If I get around to reading them I'll post my experiences on Interfaith somewhere.

That sounds right. And it certainly fits the piece. Did you listen? It makes the proverbial hairs stand up ... on the back of my neck, or wherever they're supposed to be. :-p
