Merry Christmas to all out there who celebrate it! Joyous Winter Solstice and Happy New Year to all! I'm off to visit the family: 14 hours plus stops through freezing rain, sleet and snow with two kids in the back seats (prayers for safety and sanity welcome!).

Hey All! We're back and now trying to dig out from under the Christmas debris. We are up to our necks in kids toys packaging. Hope everyone's Christmas was wonderful. Our trip to NY took 23 hours instead of 15 because we were right in the middle of the Indiana-Ohio snowstorm (took 7 hours to go what usually takes 2). In spite of how grueling that was the girls did great and we were just thankful that we never went off the road or got stopped completely.

Lunamoth, glad you made it through that mess with no problems--up here in northern Indiana, we dodged all that.

But, we did have a white Christmas, which was good!
