Chris, if you read Jesus' own words you will find that He made it quite clear. He said, "Before Moses was, I AM". Jesus went further to declare "I AM WHO AM." Pretty bold statements eh? Yet He stated them for all to hear.

Which means He was declaring (not implying), that He was one and the same.

some people see that as the Father there & some see it as the Son.

here are some more names that give the Jehova names, the I am names & like 600 other names & titles.

I'm being picky here, Q, but the quote was actually, "Before Abraham was, I AM".

I think the confusion is because God did not refer himself as I AM until He appeared to Moses in the burning bush, well after Abraham's time. But that just makes the statement more profound, doesn't it?
