Re: Obama's Birth Certificate
Earl,
What are the chances do you think that Obama might try to restore the Hawaiian monarchy?

State law (Hawai'i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record," reads an Oct. 31 statement from Hawaii's Dr. Chiyome Fukino, who heads the Hawaii office that oversees health records -- including birth certificates.
"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai'i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai'i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama's original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures," Fukino said in the three paragraph statement.
"No state official, including Governor Linda Lingle, has ever instructed that this vital record be handled in a manner different from any other vital record in the possession of the State of Hawai'i," the statement concludes.
Does this mean Obama was born in Hawaii?
"Yes," said Hawaii Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo, in both email and telephone interviews with the Tribune. "That's what Dr. Fukino is saying."

Do you agree with Okunbo that this is what Fukino is saying? Don't forget you have to convince a soldier with his neck on the line with your answer.

Of coure it is ridiculous. The choir mentality that supports blind belief as opposed to reason is not only ridiculous but dangerous. Yet choir mentality that needs to accept what justifies the self regardless of consequences will continue to flourish regardless of the horrors it produces. It is the nature of the Beast.
To a person of reason, spending close to a million dollars with nothing to hide in order to conceal a BC anyone should be proud of would seem absurd. Not so to the choir with its need for blind belief.

BB it's way beyond ridiculous, but I get some perverse pleasure out of jibing Nick re it. Part of it is morbid curiosity to see how tenaciously the guy will hang on to his party line in the face of all the facts to the contrary. earl

We don't have to convince a soldier with his neck on the line. If any soldier wants to leave the army because he/she has no faith in their commander-in-chief then I would support their discharge.
The president will never have a 100% approval rating from either civilian or soldier and you should have no problem finding somebody in either camp willing to voice their distrust of their leader.
If that is going to be your measuring stick for leadership, then I'll play that game. The next time a republican occupies the Oval Office we'll see if we can find a dissenter in the ranks who—according to your rules—will prove the illegitimacy of the president.

Don't you realize that if 1st Lt. Scott R. Easterling comes out of this in one piece it will be surprising. You support him leaving but it can never happen. Politics will never allow it.
As the old saying goes: "Hell hath nor fury as a pissed choir singer." This is why when Earl mentions about party line it is so naive. No party would support this. It is political suicide to go up against pissed choir singers. That is why that it is up to courageous individuals to support the constitution.
It isn't a matter of approval ratings or party platforms. The question is of qualifications for the presidency regardless of party. Obama has not produced them and the people that should ask for them are afraid of going up against pissed choir singers so pass the buck to people of courage like 1st Lt. Scott R. Easterling who are willing to raise the embarrassing questions in spite of the wrath of pissed choir singers.

Re: Obama's Birth Certificate
@ Nick
Dude... why the hell do you even care, is what I don't understand.
Obama is a politician, lying is part of his job description. If it wasn't him,
it wouldve been someone else.
'the hell do you care where he was born? For all your talk
about the Beast, I can't believe you actually take politics seriously.
what I also can't believe is that this thread is still on the front page!!!

Hey, I'm just trying to set the ground rules by which we'll judge all future presidents.
Seems fair to me.
So what's still unclear to me—and maybe you can help me out here Nick—in the future, when we do find the one pissed-off soldier, do we allow the soldier a discharge, or should we just get rid of the president?
I'll let you make the call.
