one book with passages from world religions and prophets

seeking a single book recommendation. Looking for a book with passages from the great world sacred texts and commentary. using this as a way to seek God without sorting through the dogma or religiosity of man mad e reeligion

Hmmm maybe Huston Smith's World Religions or his revised Pictoral World Religions perhaps?

That's also the one that I would recommend. Huston Smith, most definitely.
