You have actual mountains over on the east coast? (I don't mean hills with trees growing on the tops of them either, lol!)

Yes, we have the Adirondack Mountains 5000ft, the Appalachian Mountains 6700ft and the Catskill Mountains 3500ft
No Mt. Rainier though!!

Ahh, day hikes! Those are always fun. About the size of Mount Pilchuck, then?
Sounds like fun!
(I wouldn't even want to try to climb Mt Rainier. People go there to train to climb Mt Everest, {as it is glaciated and such,} and we lose quite a few people to the mountain every year.)
