Actually you dont know anything about me.. but its ok if you think you do.
This life is vapor compared to eternity... what is 75 years on this earth compared to ETERNITY. No.. none of this matters.
So people keep blaming all the worlds problems on George Bush and the republican party... Go ahead. Easier to do that than to blame the real source.. if you did that you might have to agree with someone like me.... How horrible!!!

It does matter. Pull your head out of your ass.
Pardon, that's ugly. But so is your attitude.
Let us, brothers and sisters, think on these things: Who Would Jesus Bomb?
Is God an American?
Are foreigners less human than Americans?
Is George Bush really a man of God? Whose God? What God? Where the hell is the rest of humanity's God?

I replied to your stated position. And I think mine is clear to you. I can approach death with a clear conscience knowing I have never ever supported a mass murderer.

Re: Political Quotes
And, to get us off this digression, in a way, let's have some more actual political quotes, rather than this dichotmous bickering. We all know how war ends, anyway, if it does.
Here's a bumper sticker I saw yesterday:
READ 1984 Wish I could find an actual picture of it on the net, but oh well. I did find this link which has a bunch of great stickers pictured. I like the one that says, "May the fetus you save be gay." HA!!!

The best car sticker I ever saw was on the back of a Morris Minor. In very small print it said "DIE FORD SCUM"

I don't understand the point you are trying to make. Is it that because I don't support the "War on Terror" and because I don't support our current president's policies in Iraq, I must--logically, of course--have been a supporter of Saddam Hussein?
That is not the case. Once again, dichotomous thinking: either/or; either with us or against us.
I don't support war, I don't support terror. I advocate for peace. It's so much more fun than bombs, fear, and men and women who cannot let a grudge go.
I am over myself.
EDIT: Ooops, it looks like I took one for the team. I think the "Get over yourself" barb was directed at Tao.

Re: Political Quotes
"Awakening to love can happen only as we let go of our obsession with power and domination. Culturally, all spheres of American life--politics, religion, the workplace, domestic households, intimate relations--should and could have as their foundation a love ethic. The underlying values of a culture and its ethics shape and inform the way we speak and act. A love ethic presupposes that everyone has the right to be free, to live fully and well. To bring a love ethic to every dimension of our lives, our society would need to embrace change. At the end of The Art of Loving, Erich Fromm affirms that 'important and radical changes are necessary, if love is to become a social and not a highly individualistic, marginal phenomenon.' Individuals who choose to love can and do alter our lives in ways that honor the primacy of a love ethic. We do this by choosing to work with individuals we admire and respect; by committing to give our all to relationships; by embracing a global vision wherein we see our lives and our fate as intimately connected to those of everyone else on the planet."

Re: Political Quotes
It will take time to restore Chaos
Make America what we want it to be — a literate country and a hopefuller country
It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it.
We are getting more and more imports from abroad
