Salaam all,
I've been away for some time; but I'm still around  Attempts at radical change from the traditional Islam has been attempted many times in the past centuries and the general Muslims have alllways shunned it and the same will continue to happen untill the last day inshAllah. [we also have Quran and hadith reasusurance of this ]changes for Islam to adapt to the modern world are positive when derived from the Quran and Sunnah by the righteous Scholars, and such 'adaptional ijtihad' is being implemented by the likes of Shaykh Abdullah Bin Bayyah and Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, AlHamdulillah! Peace. |
