made me larf anyway - so what do our resident neopagans think of the commercialisation aspect of it? i particularly liked this bit:

I had to admit, I found it rather enjoyable reading - but I'm not sure everyone here would be comfortable with it.

oh i know, but i think it's one of the serious issues they're going to have to take ownership of, as it were, in order to be taken seriously. that's my point. it's hard enough for the poor buggers to deal with the ignorance, prejudice and downright snobbery of the 'established' religions as it is.

There is commercial junk made and sold for most religions. But there must be someone buying the stuff as it does get churned out by the scam artists.

The Pagan Prattle blog tends to post links and descriptions of all sorts of "religious tat" (as the blogger calls it) from a wide range of religions. Sometimes it's amusing, and sometimes it's just pitiful what people try and sell.
